Six Things You Can Do to Support RDI’s Work to Alleviate Poverty

1) Volunteer

Volunteers are a great resource for our organization and help us increase our impact on global poverty. The bulk of volunteer opportunities revolve around our annual International Women’s Day event and are concentrated in February and March. However, other opportunities exist throughout the year and typically involve mailing parties to support to the development team, with occasional opportunities for research.

2) Become an Ambassador for RDI

Learn about our speaker’s bureau or volunteer to host a house party to share our work with others. We would be happy to make talk with an organization, make a presentation to a company, or engage in a discussion with a small dinner group. Help us grow our network by sharing our work with others.

3) Help us Build Awareness and Develop Partnerships

Partnerships are key to our success. Help us build awareness by sharing our work with friends, family, colleagues and businesses. RDI meets with NGOs, small businesses, law firms and global corporations alike to share our knowledge and educate. Each have found RDI’s insights and global perspectives to be of great value for their clients and executive management, and of personal interest to all attendees.

4) Invest in our Work

We are a non-profit organization sustained by the generosity of people who share our vision and our mission. Your time, treasure and talent are greatly appreciated.

5) Support our Events

Help us celebrate International Women’s Day with our annual event to raise awareness about women’s land rights. Become a table captain and bring your friends and family. Or, become a sponsor and partner with RDI.

6) Bring RDI to Your City

Bring RDI to your community. Education is a core part of RDI’s mission. RDI is pleased to share its experience and expertise through private briefings to interested groups or presentations on economic and social trends in the rural sector of developing countries, land rights in specific regions or countries, women’s access to land and property, etc.

Or, host a gathering in your community to learn about the courageous people RDI supports and raise awareness and funds for RDI’s work.
